Your Magazine

The specific target audience for my magazine will be age raged from 21-30 this is shown to be a wide age range as it will include young pop stars who are intriguing towards the younger readers and middle age pop stars who will be attracted to the more older age rage. The gender i am specifically targeting will be females as most of the celebrity’s starring on the front will be females however the male gender may also find this attractive to look at and in this respect may want to purchase the magazine. The magazine is going to be a monthly edition as it will be much thicker and more stories will be include. This will also prevent the same stories being repeated in the magazine which will bore the audience. The price is a reasonable price as it is £2.50 which for a monthly magazine is considered quite cheap enticing the reader to buy the magazine and save their money.

Rationale

My magazine will be different as there will be numerous amounts of interviews and also our cameras and editors will be following a new pop star every month to update the readers on their everyday routine of life. This i think will be really enticing for the readers as they will get the full insight in a pop stars life. Also included in the magazine will be exclusive picture revealed about celebrity love lives and other major events such festivals being held.

Style

The style of my magazine will be quite feminine however I will make it look very professional and proficient towards the readers. However i would like the main concentration to be set on the artist being displayed on the front cover to strip it all back and make it all about the music rather than the look of the magazine.

What is the regular content?

This will be mainly interviews and personal opinions being put forward in this magazine and stories that have caught the Medias eye over the last month. Once a month there will also be a chance for a group of friends to win a trip to an exotic location and a chance to see their most iconic pop stars in concert. Also the use of advertisement will also be included every month for example new albums that artists have made.

House Style  

The house style will link in with the cover star; clothing and the accessories that they are wearing which all will link together. There may well be feminine colours included however plain and simple gets the message across very well and makes the message involved with the music much more loudly and clear.

Contents Page

The contents page will consist of a list of topics that is going to be included in the magazine. The main cover star will also be included and other images that are relevant to the magazine. This will be very professional and effective as the use of language devices will also be involved to encourage the reader to buy the magazine.

Double Page Spread

The double page spread will show a variety of pictures of the main cover star almost like a collage to show the different camera angles used. This shows a sense of creativeness making it more exciting for the readers to look at. The colours will be very similar to the front cover and contents page to show consistency. This could also describe the artist being displayed in the magazine and involve the reader to describe the personality being expresses.
